The class

Hi Sir,

In all I believe it was a useful class, I learnt a lot and was able to grow with in myself creatively. I believe however, a lot more could have been taught in the course time but I know my class can be demanding when it come to individual attention so I can understand the limits to the techniques that were taught. I enjoyed the class a lot and I believe it was defiantly necessary to build the design skill of us new designers that are not so sure of our skills and abilities as yet.

Thank you for being so patient with us these past week sir and i greatly enjoyed having you as our tutor.

Assignment 5

Hi Sir,

Finals, this assignment was very confusing, the tutorials and the actual presentation of the assignment was not done in the best way, and it took me along time to figure out exactly what was required of me. When i final figure it out however I decided to go very clean and simple as the Cooyah look is usually a simple black background with the logo colors of red, yellow and green. I loved my final product and from the looks of things I believe I grew a lot compared to my first couple classes. My work is really starting to look professional and I am becoming way me confidant in my creativity.

Assignment 4

Hi Sir,

One of the hardest assignments I've received to date was assignment number four. The amount of detail being asked for was mind blowing and could very easily cause a design to look confusing. I took the simpler route out with this one. It was either going to be confusing in my attempt to go for something attention grabbing, or to go very simple and as my end result showed boring. As another tutor told me I have a very simple and neat design technique and it may not be best for certain projects. I saw that in this assignment as my attempt to go eye catching was very futile.

Assignment 3

Hi Sir,

Assignment number three was another another fairly simple in class assignment we were asked to remake and audi advertisement. Utilizing the quick mask technique we learnt the week before we were asked to cut out the car to be used in the ad, and to place it on a different background and recreate an intricate header design. Once again my grade on the assignment was pleasing, it reflected a growth in the photoshop program that I was hoping to gain from this class.

Assignment 2

Hi Sir,

The second assignment was way more challenging, and being faced with a 3 hour deadline really stressed me out. At one point I completely gave up and just put something on the page, something that I ended up loving and from my grade was a good design. This assignment actually taught me a lesson that I have used in my other classes this semester, and I believe has made me a better designer. I have learnt that I need to stop over thinking my designs and go with my initial gut instinct, my first design is usually the best of the lot.

Hi sir,

Welcome to the blog! Okay the first assignment we received was to recreate a business card from one we were presented with. I thought this assignment was preatty simple, i figure this was you method of figuring out where each of us stood with understanding the program. I believe i did very well in this particular challenge and my grade reflected this well.
